Summary AMG Aluminum North America, LLC (AMG Al NA) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Henderson County, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with AMG Al NA’s customers and providing them with product information, service, and support. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating cross functional resources to support product sales, including Production, Shipping/Logistics, and Accounting. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales. Responsibilities and Duties • Comply with all AMG and AMG Al NA policies and procedures, including safety, environmental requirements, and AMG’s Code of Business Conduct; lead by example within the AMG Al NA team • Receive and process customer orders; quote price and delivery on products based on established Company standards; prepare and issue written quotations, price inquiry forms for non-standard products, order confirmations, and sales invoices • Coordinate customer deliveries including identification of optimum shipping points, freight costs, and shipping schedules with freight forwarders; review letter of credit prior to shipment; prepare and courier all required documents for global customers • Maintain and monitor warehouse product inventory levels; escalate concerns regarding levels to Sales leadership • Analyze customer and order data to support Sales team and external customers • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded • Trouble shoot/problem solve and resolve customer concerns/complaints with internal business partners; escalate those issues to the Sales team as needed • Assist leadership in establishing order priorities during limited production scenarios • Maintain all customer and sales information in the Company’s ERP system and customer management system; maintain all customer files and documentation consistent with Company requirements • Communicate effectively with external customers and internal business partners Qualifications/Skills/Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service experience; metals and/or heavy manufacturing experience preferred • Experience with domestic and global sales and customer service • Strong customer service mindset and focus • Superior relationship building skills; diplomatic style and approach • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) • Ability and experience in data mining and analysis • Good follow-through skills and heightened attention to detail; action-oriented; takes initiative • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Independent thinker; exercises good judgment in responding to customer inquiries and needs • Ability to adapt well to change • Team player • Sound knowledge of ERP systems as well as customer management software systems; prior experience with QuickBase a plus • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Word and Power Point AMG Aluminum North America, LLC offers a competitive wage and benefit package and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
