JOB DESCRIPTION
 
  Role and Responsibilities
 
Assist Family Court Judge and other Court Staff in Courtroom during proceedings. 
 
Maintain records regarding Court clientele interaction with service providers and update records prior to Court appearances.   Monitor Court orders to ensure services are being provided and utilized.
 
Reach out to local community service providers and maintain a relation with their intake departments, as well as understand services offered by community service providers.  Represent Henderson Family Court in the community at various functions.
 
Be a liaison between Court clientele and services in the community as well as confirm ongoing participation in Court ordered services.
 
Serve as court contact for parties, other court personnel, county attorneys, defense attorneys, social service agencies and law enforcement agencies.
 
 
  Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related fields preferred and 1 year job related experience.
  • Associates Degree in Human Service or business field and 1 year job related experience.
  • Education substitute: High School Diploma and 3 years job related experience.
 
    Skills/Assets
  • Ability to be productive without constant monitoring.
  • Work well with others in a small office setting.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding Court clientele and proceedings.
  • High organizational, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Zoom facilitation.
  • Ability to operate multifunction printer/scanner and CISCO VIOP telephone system.
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel programs, excellent typing and communication skills.
