Columbia Sportswear Company has assembled a portfolio of brands for active lives, making it a leader in the global active lifestyle apparel, footwear, accessories and equipment industry. The Columbia Sportswear Distribution Center has been located in the community since 2004 and currently employs 100-200 people in Henderson County. The facility is one of two distribution locations operated by the company in the US, with the other located in Portland, Oregon.

Henderson is also home to 1 of only 4 Columbia Sportswear Employee Stores in the country. It is not open to the public and is an invite-only store that carries the newest and current season’s lines for Columbia (including PFG/PHG), Mountain Hardwear, SOREL and prAna all marked at Columbia Sportswear employee pricing, which is typically marked 40-50% below regular retail pricing. Because the store is not open to the public, we partner with local companies to receive exclusive invitations throughout the year for all of their employees to shop at the store. This is completely free and allows us to partner with local businesses as a way of supporting corporate health and wellness initiatives. Last year, over 72,000 people visited the Columbia Employee Store in Henderson.
